We had a great Christmas Party
in December at the Paola Country
Club.  And, now the holidays are
behind us.  

The January meeting was held at  
the home of Judy Jeck.  Co-hostess
was Shirley Ferley.  There were 20 in 
attendance with 2 guests.  

We were reminded of the upcoming 
Music/Art Festival in March in Baldwin
on March 6th, and then in Lindborg on 
the 20th.  

We have adopted one Woman Veteran,
and are asking for more if anyone knows
of one in this area.  We would like to
keep in touch with them.  We are working
now on veteran ditty bags to be delivered
to the Veteran's Hospital for Valentine's Day.

Also keep working on the bags for the children
in Afghanistan and Iraq.  They need education.

Keep open April 9 & 10 for Convention in Topeka.
Helen wants a huge turnout for her last one.
